RedAnt can be installed on as many workstations as required. Access is restricted by the number of concurrent users.
This will depend on the number of licenses purchase.
e.g. RedAnt is installed on ten computers, and a license for five users is purchased. Any five users may use the system at any one time from any of the ten workstations.
Are End Use Suggestions incorporated into the software?
We welcome any suggestions for new features in RedAnt.
Whilst we include these free of charge so other users may benefit, we are unable to guarantee a timescale on inclusion.
We do however offer bespoke programming work. This would be quoted for on a job by job basis and take priority over ‘suggestions’.
New features added in this way may or may not always suite all users. Where this happens, new features are hidden by switches and would be down to end user requirements
whether they are used or not.
How is RedAnt Supported?
We have a dedicated support telephone number which connects to our software technicians. Alternatively we can be contacted using the internet via Skype.
We also have the ability to connect you a users computer using the technical support option in RedAnt.
Do you supply free updates to the software?
As part of your annual support contract software updates are available free of charge. These can be downloaded from our FTP site and installed by the user. RedAnt also has a built in update check which alerts a user of any new versions available. A detailed list of new features is available from within the help menu
Is RedAnt owned by Stone Technology Ltd?
RedAnt is solely owned and developed by Stone Technology Ltd
What happens if Stone Technology ceases trading or no longer supports RedAnt?
End Users are able ,if they wish, to enter into an Escrow agreement (cost to be born by the user) whereby if Stone Technology Ltd is unable to support the software due to any circumstances whatsoever then full source code and ownership rights will be passed to the end user. This would enable anyone to continue to get support from another third party.
